The Technical Terrain Groomer must have at least one year of driving a snowcat and/or heavy equipment, operate equipment on extreme trails, winch utilization and have the basic understanding of race venue surface preparation.
Additional training may be required based upon applicants' abilities.
Valid Driver's License is required and must have good night vision to operate equipment in the evenings.

Building and maintaining the resort and SSWSC race and training facilitiesUse snowcat (Winch, Beast, Husky, Bison) to shape terrain, maintain a race surface on training sites and to do technical detail grooming around the resort for optimal guest experience.

Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel.
The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
