This Revenue Auditor position will support the daily operations of the Finance department and Resort by ensuring accurate daily sales and revenue reporting, communicating, teaching, and enforcing related company and department policies, and posting applicable daily revenue entries.

Responsible for the auditing of daily sales reports, verifying complete and accurate reporting of revenue, cash deposits, discounts, comps, etc.
Responsible for communicating, teaching, and enforcing related company and department policies to the Ticket Office, Rental/Retail, and Food & BeverageResponsible for performing revenue reconciliations on local resort products and helping ensure product set up and configuration is done accurately and tested appropriatelyReport all discrepancies to the Finance Senior Manager and/or the Director of Finance immediately, including all over/short variances to cashConduct self in a professional manner always reflecting the high standards of Steamboat Ski Resort and encourage team members to do the sameCompliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirementsOther duties, as assignedMinimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job:
High school graduate or GED requiredTwo years of related experience or education preferredKnowledge of basic accounting principles and excel spreadsheet applications preferredResort Ticket Office and RTP experience preferredInteract and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company's Service Excellence standardsPhysical Requirements:
Largely sedentary position, initially working remotely until permanent SSRC Administration building has completed its refitAbility to lift up to 30 lbs.

This is an hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime payPosition requires working weekends and holidays as neededThe base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position.
Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel.
The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
